Medical Director
Gerhard A. Meyer, MD, FACP, has been LMSSA's Medical Director for over two years. Board certified in Internal Medicine, he has been treating lymphedema and other swelling conditions for many years. Dr. Meyer was associated with the late Dr. Arnold Walder's Lymphedema Services of Texas. Dr. Walder was one of the pioneers in the treatment of lymphedema in the United States.

Our Clinical Director, Dr. Jessie P. Philips, ARNP, CLT/LS, PhD is an advanced registered nurse practitioner and has been working in the medical field for more than 25 years. She has been researching and treating lymphedema for more than 13 years and is a Vodder/Foldi/Special Techniques certified lymphedema therapist. Dr. Philips earned her Masters in Health Care Administration from SUNY at Binghampton. She holds a Doctorate in Women's Health from Stanford University.

Our Philosophy
Lymphedema Management Services of San Antonio is dedicated to providing people with swelling conditions with the most effective and least invasive therapy available for the treatment of their conditions. Further, realizing the extreme need for education on lymphedema, not only among those who suffer from it but health care professionals who care for them, LMSSA is also dedicated to educating health care professionals and the public.
